Russian electronics manufacturers within the "Computing Technology" consortium (ANO "VT") increased their workforce by an average of 13% in 2024 compared to the previous year, 2023. The main growth was driven by the hiring of engineering specialists. More than a third of the surveyed companies reported a workforce increase of over 30%. These findings were published in early March 2025 based on an internal survey conducted by the consortium.

According to Vedomosti, the founding members of ANO "VT" include computer technology and electronics manufacturers such as Aquarius, iRu, Depo Computers, Yadro, Kraftway, and Element Group. Svetlana Legostaeva, General Director of ANO "VT," noted that the survey results reflect the industry's "cautious optimism." Amid a labor shortage, companies are employing nearly all possible internal staffing strategies, ranging from student internships to flexible work formats.

In 2024, the number of engineers in the Element Group increased by 9%, making up approximately 42% of the total workforce of 9,500 employees. The company requires specialists for priority projects, including the development of equipment and technological installations for microelectronics production, power electronics design—such as components for server systems and charging stations—and telecommunications equipment.

The most significant workforce growth was demonstrated by the following companies:

RDV Technology – doubled its workforce to 200 employees.

Graviton – tripled the number of R&D employees to over 150 specialists.

Rikor – increased its workforce by 15% to 1,200 employees.

Rikor's Vice President, Boris Ivanov, stated that the workforce increase was driven by the growth in production, primarily due to the expansion of personnel involved in manufacturing. Approximately 65% of the employees are directly engaged in the production of computer and server equipment.
